"Depression Candles" In A Post-Pandemic Climate
Depression through isolation was a common theme for what most went through for the better part of three years, with some of us still going through some form of anxiety on our return to normal. What remedy or subtle actions are those affected with symptoms of depression left with to help fight it? Is the term "depression candles" outside of Google searches, resonate with those that you personally know?

We discuss the medicinal benefits of citrus and lavender as they have been noted to help treat these symptoms, usually with the guidance of aromatherapists. The term "depression candles" doesn't come up as often as you may think. Despite this, candles and their scents have been associated with a methodology aimed towards healing the mind for ages.
Who Is "Defeat Depression"?
Defeat Depression is a national fundraising and awareness campaign that helps individuals and organizations raise funds for local mental health programs. From their landing page, "Why Defeat Depression?";

At its most severe, depression can lead to suicide. There are approximately 4,000 suicides in Canada every year — 11 people each day.

The London Event, Depression Candles & What To Expect
The 5 hour event coming this Saturday should include a multitude of vendors and products for everyone to enjoy. What they have planned based on what we've been following ourselves on Instagram & Facebook seems like it will be a lot o' fun. Stay tuned for the next update to hear how it went.
The highlighted "depression candles" we will be bringing will revolve around Mental Health and, as such, look for the "Brighter Days Candle" and our "Lavender Candle" to be featured amongst others.

A little extra note here. Whether it be called depression candles, lavender, talking with a friend, coming home to loved ones (including pets), finding a remedy for dealing with anxiety and depression is something you should take seriously. This event in London, ON will be the first time in 3 years that we'll be back to the beginning of where this tragedy took place. Caleb's memory lives on through our message and we intend to spread positive vibes while we are there.
